अशिक्षा र दुर्गमताको भूमरीसँग दलित तथा आदिवासी जनजातीका बासिन्दाहरूले सङ्घर्ष गर्दै आएको यस क्षेत्रमा, शिक्षाको दीप प्रज्वलन गर्ने क्रममा वि.सं. २०३५ साल पौष ६ गतेदेखि श्री मोतीलाल पन्त ज्यूलाई निजी स्रोतबाट तलब भत्ता दिने गरी श्री अरनिको प्रा.वि. को नाममा विद्यालय सञ्चालनमा ल्याइएको थियो। सबैको पायक पर्ने यस ठाउँमा अरनिकोबस्ती, दशरथबस्ती, मोतीबस्ती र ‘ग’ गाउँका बालबालिकाहरूले शिक्षाको पहिलो ढोका खोल्न पाए। आजका कलिला मुनाहरू शिक्षाको ज्योति पाएर चहकिला तारा झैँ उज्यालो छर्ने कुरालाई मनन गर्दै हाल यो विद्यालय निरन्तर कक्षा ८ सम्म सञ्चालनमा रहेको छ।
In this region, where Dalit and indigenous communities have long struggled against the vortex of illiteracy and remoteness, educational efforts began progressively. Starting with adult education and early childhood education, Shree Arniko Primary School was established on Poush 6, 2035 B.S., appointing Mr. Motilal Pant to receive a salary from private sources. Situated in an accessible location, children from Arnikobasti, Dashrathbasti, Motibasti, and "G" village got the opportunity to take their first steps into formal education. Keeping in mind that today's tender buds, ignited by the light of education, will shine bright like stars, the school has continuously expanded and now operates up to Class 8.
भौतिक पूर्वाधार तथा कर्मचारी विवरण: सुरुमा कच्ची कटेरोबाट सुरु भएको विद्यालय हाल पक्की भवन र ३ वटा ट्रष्ट गरी जम्मा ५ वटा भवनमा सञ्चालित छ। तत्कालीन पुनर्वास कम्पनीबाट निर्मित ६ कोठे भवनमा पठनपाठन सुरु भएको यस विद्यालयमा हाल २ वटा नयाँ भवन र जिल्ला समन्वय इकाइको अनुदानबाट निर्मित भवनहरू थपिएका छन्। विद्यालयको नाममा अन्दाजी ४ बिघा जमिन दर्ता रहेको छ भने आवश्यक पानीका धारा, खेलमैदान, २ थान कम्प्युटर, १२ वटा भित्ते कालोपाटी, ९ वटा प्लाईउड सेतोपाटी तथा प्रत्येक कक्षामा आवश्यक फर्निचर र बुक कर्नरको व्यवस्था गरिएको छ।
हाल विद्यालयमा प्रा.वि. दरबन्दीका ५ जना, राहत दरबन्दीका १ जना, नगरपालिकामार्फत अनुदानप्राप्त १ जना, निजी स्रोतका ३ जना शिक्षक, बाल विकासका १ जना र १ जना परिचरसहित जम्मा ११ जना कर्मचारीहरू कार्यरत छन्।
पुनर्वास न.पा.–२, अरनिकोबस्तीका समस्त शिक्षक, विद्यार्थी, अभिभावक, शिक्षाप्रेमी, बुद्धिजीवी तथा समाजसेवी महानभावहरूको सक्रियता र श्रमदानबाट सिञ्चित यो विद्यालय स्थानीय बासिन्दाहरूको अमूल्य योगदानको प्रतीक हो।
Infrastructure and Staffing Details: Starting as a makeshift mud hut, the school now operates across a total of 5 structures, including concrete buildings and 3 truss-roofed sheds. Originally, classes were conducted in a 6-room building constructed by the then Punarwas Company. Currently, additional structures include a 2-room building and buildings constructed through grants from the District Coordination Unit. The school owns approximately 4 bighas of land registered in its name, along with a drinking water tap, a playground, 2 computers, 12 wall blackboards, 9 plywood whiteboards, and necessary furniture and book corners in every classroom.
Presently, a total of 11 staff members are working at the school, which includes 5 teachers under primary-level government quotas, 1 under relief quota, 1 municipality-subsidized teacher, 3 private-source teachers, 1 early childhood development (ECD) facilitator, and 1 support staff/helper.
Built through the active participation, cooperation, and voluntary labor (shramdaan) of all teachers, students, parents, education lovers, intellectuals, and social pioneers of Punarwas Municipality-2, Arnikobasti, this school stands as a symbol of the invaluable contributions of the
